The Governor’s Advisory Council of the Lagos APC led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has banned the existence of political groupings in the party, especially the Mandate Movement and the Justice Forum.

Rising from a very crucial meeting held in the residence of the GAC Chairman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Boundillon, Ikoyi on Tuesday June 9,2020, the GAC said that no group will exist in the party any longer, all members of the party should remain under one umbrella.

The Council however warned that any individual or group that violates the new rule would be dealt with accordingly.

Political leaders at the meeting apart from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu are:
Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, former deputy Governors: Chief Rafiu Ogunleye and Idiat Adebule, Mr. Wale Edun, Otunba Henry Ajomale and Cardinal Omolaja Odunmbaku (Baba Eto).
Others are: Senator Anthony Adefuye, Chief Murphy Adetoro, Alhaji Akanni Seriki(Bamu), Chief Lanre Rasaq(KLM), Alhaji Tunde Balogun(Lagos APC Chairman), Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson, Dr. Yomi Finnih, Alhaji Olorunfunmi Bashorun and Mutiu Are.
