As part of his contribution to the success of the extended All Progressives Congress Registration and Revalidation Exercise, an International Business Consultant and Grassroot Politician, Hon. Taiwo Olasupo has again renewed his unflinching support for the ruling party in Lagos State.
During the first week of the Second Phase of the exercise, Olasupo redeployed his Team of Professional Local Mobilizers and Party Faithfuls on Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area.
Olasupo Press and Strategy Centre,[OPSC] reports that a Ward-to-Ward sensitisation exercise was staged across the Ten political Wards on the Lagos Island East Local Council development area.
Scores of Volunteers were positioned in each Ward as Neighbourhood Mobilisers. They are charged with the responsibility of sensitisation and awareness for new and existing members across the polling units.
OPSC could recalled that during the first phase of the exercise, Olasupo had procured about ten medium-size digital cameras and printers, printing materials to capture the passport-size photographs of members and new members participating in the registration exercise as part of the requirements. Other Logistics were also provided.
While responding to questions from OPSC, one of the Mobilisers said “We will continue to assemble Residents to register as member of the All Progressives Congress and educate them on the need to do so. We are charged with the responsibility of ensuring a hitch free exercise”.
A newly Registered Member, simply identified as Olatunde lauded the extension of the exercise. He said “During the first phase, I could not register as a member because of my tight work schedule but with this opportunity, I and many other Residents have been able to participate.
In an Exclusive interview with OPSC, Olasupo said “I urge every Lagos Resident and Visitors to support the Administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda towards a Greater and more Prosperous Lagos. I must commend the Leadership style and landmark Achievements recorded in the last twenty two months by Governor Sanwo-Olu”.
He however encouraged improved citizen participation and engagement in Politics and Governance in state and across the country.
“I advise everyone that is a Progressive
to Register as a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Governance is a collective responsibility”, Olasupo concluded.
