Thirteen Vehicles Burnt In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Fire Incident – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has said 13 vehicles were burnt in a fire incident that occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday.

ACM Bisi Kazeem, spokesman of FRSC, who gave an update on the incident, said the source of the fire has not been determined.

Kazeem also said the fire broke out at about 6:30am near Ogere area of Ogun State. According to him, six tankers, five trucks and two cars were razed by the fire.

It was gathered that one driver was rescued alive, with the number of casualties not yet known

Efforts are on to put out the fire and restore normal flow of traffic along the busy road.
