AFTERMATHOF ONITSHA FIRE TRAGEDY, ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT PROCURES NEW FIRE TRUCKS
The Anambra State Government earlier today took delivery of new fire fighting trucks procured for the state fire service.
This was made known today when the Honourable Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne and the State Fire Service Director, Engr. Martin Agbili visited the command base and inspected the machines.
Recall, the Anambra State government last year acquired three new fire fighting trucks in addition to the ones already in use.
Arguably, the newly acquired trucks will no doubt enable the firemen fight any fire outbreak in the state.
Again, the upward review of salaries and allowances for fire fighters by the state government will boost the morale of the officers in managing the outburst of fire in any part of the state.
