A Pastor, Aimola John, yesterday slumped and died at a political meeting held in Osazee Ize-Iyamu’s residence in Benin, Edo state.

He was diabetic and had just joined Osagie Ize-Iyamu to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Aimola was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
One of his fellow decampees, former PDP Secretary, Owan East, Mr. Godwin Imoudu confirmed his death.
He was his former party’s chairmanship candidate, Owan East Local Government Area.
