Lagos Commissioner Charges Community Leaders On THEMES Agenda
The Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Pharm (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, held an interactive and engagement session with members of Joint Community Development Association (CDA) in Agbado-Oke-Odo LCDA, to intimate them about the focus and agenda of Governor Sanwo-Olu led-administration in the State.
The crucial meeting which debriefed members of her host community through their representatives, held at her residence on Saturday, 9th November 2019.
She enumerated the “ T.H.E.M.E.S.” policy of the State Government to her constituents.
She revealed that Governor Sanwo-Olu has committed to a “Greater Lagos” and will be achieved through six pillars of development.
“The components are T-H-E-M-E-S and would form the basis for assessing the governor in the next four years.
THEMES represent Traffic Management and Transportation; Health and Environment; Education and Technology; Making Lagos a 21st Century state; Security and Governance”.
On behalf of the Community Leaders, Chairman of Joint CDA, Comrade Adelakun, thanked the Honourable Commissioner for deeming it necessary to call for the meeting at this crucial time.
He noted that the leaders have been well-fed with adequate information needed to know about the present government in the State.
