PIPELINE VANDALIZATION: LAGOS FIREMEN RESCUE ONE

Two people were trapped in a Fire disaster at Iyana Odo Bus Stop, behind Diamond Estate, off Lasu-Isheri Road, Egbe Idimu Local Council Development Area, Lagos.
According to a preliminary investigation, a spiritual father was doing a spiritual bath for a man when attempt to light a candle, ignited a Fire from the spillage running through, as a result of Pipeline Vandalization.
The Acting Head of Lagos State Fire Service, Mrs. Adeseye Margaret who was at the scene of the incident pointed out that one of the victims was recovered suspected dead while the other has a high degree of burnt and has been taken to the Alimosho General Hospital. According to her, Men from Ikotun Fire Station were drafted to the scene and were supported by their counterpart from Abesan Fire Station.
In a related development, Men of the Agege Fire Station carried out a rescue operation at No 16 Oladimeji Oladipupo Street Enilorlobo Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga Area of Ogun State of a 24years old boy, Yusuf Olajide who accidentally fell into a well. Olajide was however recovered suspected dead.
Adeseye expressed the State determination to ensure that Fire incidents are contained to the barest minimum to guarantee Safety of lives and property
