Hate him or love him, the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Lagos State Chapter under the leadership of Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo continue is chairmanship as a trailblazer to remodel and change the narrative of the public perception towards its organization and its new administrative reign of the Lagos State chapter of the Union.
MC Oluomo once again displayed is quintessential qualities during the NURTW executive meeting held at the state secretariat, the state chairman MC Oluomo announced that 98% of the state chapter old staff of NURTW will be returned while he selectively express his kindness to the 60years old woman, who work as a cleaner with a salary of 15k at the state secretariat.
MC Oluomo asked the elderly woman how much she need to start a small business as he consider her too old for the job, then the woman answered 500k.
The state chairman immediately announced that her wish be granted to her and she was presented the cash sum of 500k during the executive meeting, the chairman also compensated two elderly staff with 500k and 200k respectively for medical expenses while he announced that their salary will still be paid by the union until their recovery and return to work.
