Anambra State, Nigeria’s famous socialite and philanthropist, Chief Anthony Obuekezie Ezeunara, has been killed by the Indonesian authorities for alleged drug trafficking.
Ezeunara, who was the CEO of the biggest 5-Star and most beautiful hotel in the state capital, Awka, De Santo Hotel, was alleged to have been arrested with 158kg of cocaine the street value of which is said to worth $3m (three million US dollars).
Chief Ezeunara, who commissioned his big hotel in 2019, had in 2018, joined hands with other well-to-do Anambra indigenes to build a beautiful high court in Achalla town, among other philanthropic gestures.
News of death was reportedly kept under wrap for traditional reasons until it found its way out via the social media.
