THE THIRD EDITION OF THE HON. QUDUS ADISA DAVIES  EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME HELD FRIDAY, 17TH JANUARY 2020 AT THE EYO CENOTAPH COMPOUND, IDUMOTA, LAGOS ISLAND, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA

The Honourable Councillor representing Ward A3, Lagos Island Local Government Area, Hon. Qudus Adisa Davis organised a One-Day Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation Programme for the Residents of his Ward on Friday ,17th January 2020 at the Eyo Cenotaph Compound, Idumota, Lagos Island, Lagos. In his Speech, the Councillor emphasized that the beneficiaries were carefully selected based on their needs and his burning desire to lift as many Residents out of poverty, most especially the Petty Traders, Artisans and unemployed Youths in his Political Ward.

To ensure the development and peace in his constituency and beyond, he charged the Youths to shun all acts of violence, embrace Peace and engage themselves in productive ventures. He also called for the Cooperation of all Stakeholders, the Security Agencies, Community development Associations and the Parents.

The Beneficiaries were Presented with Work Equipment and Tools such as
Sewing Machines, Pepper Grinding Machines, Clippers and Generating Set, Catering Serving Set Utensils, Household Cooking Gas System, Printing Equipments, Beauty and MakeUp Kit, Painting and Design Work Tools, Assorted Carbonated Drinks, hundreds of Instant Noodles Packs and Poultry Produce and Crates of Jumbo Size Loaves of Slice Bread.

At the Presentation Ceremony, The Councillor restated his commitment to serve meritoriously and impact positively on the Lives of the Residents.

During interview sessions with some of the Beneficiaries,they showered encomiums on the Councillor and encouraged him not to relent in his efforts.
One of the Beneficiaries urged other Councillors and Political Office Holders in the Local Government area and beyond to emulate the Organiser as the gesture will
take many out of hardships being experienced as the result of current economy hardship
