Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot stop fascinating me.
His ability to spot talents from everywhere is simply incomparable. His capacity for building friendships and networks across borders is peculiar to him.
His sagacity and intellect and native intelligence can both astound and confound even intimidate.
Look around Nigeria, you’ll see human evidences of his greatness. I need not here rehash a very well-known list of his protégés from across Nigeria. Meanwhile, his peers from other parts are egocentrically taking care of themselves and their families alone. Blessed is the man who invests in other men (and women) for his fame and fortune will long endure.
Even with his imperfections (as a human being) he’s probably one of the greatest Nigerians alive. From a distance and, now, from close quarters, I see a man who God is using to change our story as a people. And something tells me the story has only just started.
I wish him many more years of good health and passionate, patriotic service to humanity and our dear country.
He finds my self-styled title of Baale of Emekatedo most fascinating. Well, let him hurry up and change it as in make it bigger with the right Staff of Office. In due time, I’ll “retaliate” with a title from Mbaise. Ighotago?
Meanwhile I’m going to be at the 2020 Bola Tinubu Youth Summit in April, where he gives back knowledge and wisdom to the youths, tomorrow’s leaders.
Long Live BAT
