The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed six cases of coronavirus in the country.
The agency announced this in a tweet on Monday evening, listing Kwara, Edo, Rivers and the federal capital territory (FCT) as the affected areas.
The NCDC confirmed two cases each in Kwara and Edo, and one case each in Rivers and the nation’s capital.
“Six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 2 in Kwara, 2 in Edo, 1 in Rivers and 1 in the FCT. As at 09:30 pm 6th April there are 238 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty-five have been discharged with five deaths,” the tweet read.

⦁ Ondo- 1
⦁ Kwara- 2
The NCDC said it is currently monitoring 8,881 passengers in relation to COVID-19.
