The Immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi has recovered from coronavirus infection. Ajimobi had earlier been admitted at the Intensive Care unit of an Undisclosed Private Hospital in Lagos after He collapsed due to Underlying Health issues.

Medical Personnel at the health Facility carried out COVID-19 test which he tested Negative twice according to the guidelines of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control.

Though, he was reported to have died of the Virus but his Family members and media Aides debunked the death rumour.
