Osun has recorded a further 15 cases of the coronavirus infection on Friday, according to the daily data published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Recall that the state recorded only four cases on Thursday, according to official report.
The newly confirmed cases bring the state’s total case count to 1,489, from which 331 are currently being managed.
On a day when 1114 new confirmed cases and 27 deaths were recorded in Nigeria, Osun did not record any fatalities.
The 1114 new cases were reported from 22 states, imcluding: Lagos (408), FCT (95), Plateau (90), Ondo (66), Kaduna (63), Oyo (56), Borno (46), Imo (42), Edo (41), Ogun (37), Rivers (31), Ekiti (25), Yobe (20), Kano (18), Akwa Ibom (18), Delta (15), Osun (15), Kwara (11), Bayelsa (6), Nasarawa (6), Zamfara (4) and Bauchi (1)
