I expect the PDP and GSM genuine loyalists to have a deep thought and convince the Governor to be in charge of security in Oyo state rather than sitting on the fence and allow mercenaries to create ethnic hates that may trigger reprisal attacks on Yoruba race residents in other part of Nigeria. No one has monopoly of thuggery or creating a state of anarchy.
A situation where victims of security lapses will call on mercenaries or self declared warlords or war mongers for liberation is a sorry state and shame for Oyo state internal security.
Oyo state was not as bad as this during Ajimobi’s era.
Those who care should go and tell GSM to sit up on security. No one hates him.
He should stop blaming Dailypost and The Punch for their press reports.
He needs to stop using the playing to the gallery approach and audio – visual propaganda but normalise relationship with the police rather than use of war mongers, Auxiliary and co.
As a sitting Governor policemen morale was dampened and police officers were killed, roasted and cannibalised in Oyo state. Many police stations were set on fire in Oyo state.
GSM tenure is a disaster in terms of security challenges in Oyo state for almost two years.
I am speaking out now before it is too late. I enjoin all like minds to speak out regardless of their political parties affiliations.
