A 5-year old missing girl has been found in Nkwelle, Orsile in Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The victim, according to a statement from the Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, was reportedly found by a good Samaritan wandering around Nkwelle junction.
He said the child who could neither find her way back home nor state where she came from is presently in the protective care of the Ogbunike Divisional Anti human trafficking unit.
He said, “On the 14/1/2021 at about 11:47am, a good samaritan brought a female Child of about five years old to Ogbunike Police Station. The child is about 2 feet tall, dark in complexion without tribal mark.
“The girl was found wandering around Nkwelle junction, Orsile in Ogbunike, Oyi LGA of Anambra State and could neither find her way back home nor state where she came from.
“She is presently in the protective care of the Ogbunike Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parents or guardian.
“Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at Ogbunike Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.”
