A Nigerian female medical doctor identified as Tito Daodu, has made history in Canada by becoming the first black woman pediatric surgeon practicing in the country.
Tito is being celebrated by the American Pediatric Surgical Association, APSA for achieving such feat.
The association in a post via Twitter, APSA said Dr. Daodu renders service to persons with least access.
Sharing her photos, APSA wrote;
”Dr. @TitoDaodu was born in Nigeria. She is the 1st black woman #pedsurg practicing in Canada @ACHFKids.
She believes that by helping the worst off or those with the least access, she does a service to the entire system. #BlackHistoryMonth #BeLikeBenjy #IlLookLikeaSurgeon”
