In his determination to ensure a peaceful and crime-free Easter Celebration in the state and its adjoining communities, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA, Psc+ has deployed a total number of five thousand, eight hundred and eighty three(5883) Police Officers comprising of Mobile Police Officers and constabulary.

“At the Delta state Police Command, We have
intensified our crime fighting mechanism to ensure a robust and intelligence driven policing system during and after the festive period.  This has become necessary to prevent and control crime rate”,  CP Ali emphasised.

The Police officers would be positioned in Public Places such as Worship Centres , Recreation Spaces, major highways and within the neighborhoods. Members of the Public are urged to cooperate with officers during the discharge of their duties.

CP Ali however implored the Officers to be
be Civil and Polite but firm in ensuring the security of lives and properties and safety of Travelers and other road users throughout the State.

The Commissioner of Police urged the  Residents to report to the Police unscrupulous elements who might want to perpetrate crime or disturb public peace.
