About 144 Nigerian policemen have arrived in Somalia to improve security in liberated areas. The officials will be deployed to different parts of the country to serve in various roles such as patrols at checkpoints, among others.

The Nigerian contingent joined the Somali Police Force to bring peace and stability to the country.
