Another petrol tanker exploded on Tuesday morning at Oshigbudu, in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.
This happened two days after one fell and exploded in the same community, claiming 12 lives and razed dozens of houses nearby.
Although, no lives were lost in the latest inferno, some houses were burnt, according to John Ikwulono, the Vice Chairman of the local government, who confirmed the incident.
Ikwulono said: “Yes, another petroleum tanker fell around 4.00am today, it happened as you are entering Oshigbudu. The tanker spilled its content and exploded.
“But thank God there was no casualty, except a few houses that the content spilt to.”
The inferno, it was gathered, was put out by efforts of residents in the area with the use of water and detergent.
