Gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers on Monday abducted three women at Onipe Community, on Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road.

The abducted were identified as; Mrs Okeowo, Mrs Abosede Adebayo and Mrs Bola Ogunrinde

The incident occurred at about 8;20am after the abductors reportedly emerged from a bush around Onipe community to ambush the victims. One of the abducted, Mrs Ogunrinde was driving a Toyota RAV-4, with registration number AGL 66 FY when their attackers ambushed them.

Security personnel including the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, operatives of Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), local hunters and vigilante group members were immediately deployed in search of the victims and the kidnappers
