The Lagos State Government has reacted to a heartbreaking video of Big Brother Naija Season 3 reality star, Rico Swavey being neglected by healthcare attendants.
We earlier reported that the reality TV star passed away on Thursday morning, days after he was involved in a ghastly accident in Lagos.
The viral video showing the final moments of the former reality TV star, at a hospital in Lagos State, attracted condemnation from members of the public.
In the clip recorded by one of the nurses attending to Rico Swavey, the deceased was placed on oxygen as he was unconscious on a chair.

It was observed that the nurses were attempting to carry him on a bed when the nurse brought out a phone and started recording him.
Another nurse was heard cautioning her colleague against the act.
Amid the backlash trailing the video, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, in a chat with PUNCH revealed the hospital does not belong to the government.
He said the state has also commenced an investigation into the unprofessional conduct of nurses that appeared in the viral video.
He said: “That hospital is not a government hospital; we have started an investigation into the unprofessional conduct of those who appeared in that video.”
