Reports claiming the journalist who recorded the footage of South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit urinating in public have surfaced days after the incident. According to several reports, the African reporters who covered the incident have vanished.
The embarrassing occurrence happened when a live public event was being broadcast on television in South Africa. The 71-year-old president was spotted sporting his signature black Stetson hat and a grey suit. Mayardit is seen placing his right hand on his heart as the band begins to perform the national anthem.
A few seconds later, pee starts to descend and his pants start to darken. On the ground below, the urine is visible dribbling out of his pants. The humiliated President appears to be gazing down but stays put. The camera then cuts to those attending the event who are looking astonished.
