Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru, Honourable Member Of The Federal House Of Representatives, Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Industry Felicitates Muslim Faithful on Lagos Island Local Government Area and across Nigeria as the Holy month of Ramadan 2023 begins.

In a Press Statement issued in Downtown Lagos, The Federal Lawmaker urged Muslim Brothers and Sisters to reconnect with Allah through prayers and fasting in the Holy month and thereafter.

“Ramadan teaches Patience and Humility. If you don’t eat or engage in other Pleasures, you will understand what it means to be Poor and not have enough to eat. You also learn to be Grateful for the Food and Blessings you have–and to patiently wait for your next meal”, Dr. Badru said.

“It also teaches us self-reflection, Uprightness and generosity”, He continued.

Dr. Badru encouraged Muslim Faithful to practice the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.

“The Holy Qur’an was revealed in the month of Ramadan: A guidance for the People and clear proofs of guidance and criterion”, He stated.

The leader of the Lagos Caucus at the Green Chamber also enjoined Muslim Faithful and other Adherents to live in peace, unity and support the State and Federal Governments to build a more prosperous Nation for the present and future generation.

He also charged the Citizenry to live in harmony with each other to further promote the spirit of Brotherliness.

Dr. Badru however expressed appreciation to the Residents for their support during his Re-Election bid.

He also restated his commitment to Proactive and Qualitative representation.

“May the Almighty Allah Accept Our Supplications before him. I pray Allah continue to guide, protect, bless and reward our good deeds on Earth”, Dr. Badru said in the statement.
