Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Benjamin Hundeyin fearlessly unveiled the latest developments in their inquiry into Mohbad’s untimely death and the individuals facing allegations.
Based on visual and photographic evidence found online, accusations have arisen, suggesting that singer Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, may have been involved in tormenting and bullying the late singer, potentially contributing to his tragic demise.
Notably, fans and prominent figures such as Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo have made claims insinuating that Sam Larry is a member of Lagos government thugs after photos of him with Governor of Lagos state Sanwo-Olu and Nigerian Monarch, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, emerged online.
During a recent conversation with TVC’s ‘Your View’ TV presenters, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed that he had received phone calls from the Lagos state Governor, his aide, and Oba Elegushi, all vehemently denying any close association with Naira Marley and Sam Larry, as well as disavowing any involvement in shielding them as their Political operative goons
The police spokesperson emphasized that the Governor had authorized a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic passing.
This is coming after Actress Iyabo Ojo made a firm commitment to ensure that the late Afrobeats singer, Mohbad, receives the justice he rightfully deserves.
She directed her criticism towards Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urging him to heed the voices of the youth and take necessary steps to uncover the truth behind Mohbad’s unfortunate fate and hold anyone responsible accountable.
The movie star hinted at potential political affiliations with the suspects. Iyabo emphasized that her foundation would be contacting relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served for the musician.
