All Progressive Congress (APC) member and national coordinator of the Disciples of Jagaban, Mr Abdulhakeem Alawuje has called on Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu as the nation faces economic challenges.

In a recent statement, Alawuje expressed confidence that the difficulties Nigerians are currently facing are only temporary.

He urged citizens to support President Tinubu’s administration, predicting that the positive outcomes of his policies will eventually lead to widespread calls for him to continue in office beyond 2027.

“The President is fully aware of the hardship the country is experiencing.

“But with patience and collective support, we are on the path to a brighter future. I can boldly predict that Nigerians will eventually ask Tinubu to continue as President beyond 2027″, Alawuje noted.

Alawuje also addressed those critical of Tinubu’s leadership, suggesting that even some of the President’s current detractors would eventually join in campaigning for his re-election once they witness the long-term benefits of his governance.

He appealed to Nigerians, particularly the youth, to avoid being misled by selfish politicians and to view Tinubu as a true friend of the nation.

“However, I want to plead with Nigerians to exercise patience for a short period as the hardship will soon become a thing of the past. As the Disciples of Jagaban, we are committed to advocating for good governance. So we are calling on youths not to allow themselves to be misguided and misinformed by selfish politicians.

“The masses should see Tinubu as a friend of the nation and not allow themselves to be swayed by the nation’s adversaries, who fear that a successful Tinubu presidency would render them irrelevant in future elections“, Alawuje stated.
