Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), has issued a dire warning to Nigerians, urging them to intensify their prayers to avert worsening hardship.
At the inauguration of Blessed Ommemma Oil and Gas Limited’s mega filling station in Abakpa Nike, Enugu State, Fr. Mbaka said, “Nigeria’s current challenges are just the beginning. We’re currently at the hunger stage, but famine is looming if divine intervention doesn’t occur… I implore Nigerians to pray fervently, as our situation requires spiritual solutions.”
Fr. Mbaka emphasised the need for prudent financial management, advising against storing money in banks due to devaluation.
He also called on the government to take decisive action, in alleviating the situation stating, “The government is aware of the solutions to our problems. One strategic decision can alleviate our suffering… We need prayers to complement their efforts.”
Fr. Mbaka’s warning underscores the urgency for collective action, prayer, and responsible governance to mitigate Nigeria’s challenges.
He said: “All I can say is that we need more prayers for Nigeria to be well. For my own angle, I am a spiritual man but I want to tell you that we need more prayers.”
