Reality TV star and ex-wife to 2Baba, Annie Macaulay has finally broken the silence on divorce from singer Innocent Idibia aka 2Baba.

On January 26, 2Baba shared via Instagram, his split and ongoing divorce from his wife of 13 years, Annie.

Annie who’s been quiet through the drama finally revealed in a recent interview that her silence signified peace, adding that she made a conscious decision to step away from the limelight to rediscover her essence.

According to her, the time spent on reflecting had been rewarding because she was now focused on nurturing her children and continuing life’s journey, despite its challenges.

Annie, maintained that choosing silence was not due to weakness, rather it gave her the grace to fight her battles privately and avoid public explanations.

In her words,

“Silence isn’t weakness it’s peace. Since my divorce from Innocent Idibia, I chose to step back, reflect, and heal away from the noise. The truth is, not everything needs to be explained, and not every battle is meant to be fought in public,”

“Love, pain, lessons, and growth all come with life’s journey. I have embraced mine with grace, focusing on myself, my children, and the future ahead. Sometimes, silence speaks louder than words.”
