
Armed assailants attacked the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the early hours of Tuesday in Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
Security expert Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident on Thursday via X, citing intelligence sources. The Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, reportedly informed authorities that three armed men stormed the premises around 1:00 a.m., damaging parts of the building, including windows.
Police from Okehi Division responded promptly, with no casualties or arrests reported. Preliminary investigations are underway, though the motive remains unclear.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has yet to comment publicly on the incident.
