In a decisive intervention to address power challenges, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, is set to energise eight brand new 500kVA electricity transformers earlier donated by his administration to the following communities across Kosofe:

1. Sosanya CDA (Soluyi)
2. Harmony Estate (Ifako)
3. Millennium Estate (Gbagada)
4. Bakare-Bello market community (Araromi Ifako)
5. Willipap Estate (Ibrahim Onashokun, Ifako)
6. Odunfa CDA (Oworonsoki)
7. Ife CDA (Oluwaseun Community, Oworonsoki)
8. Oruba CDA (Ogudu)

This timely initiative comes as a significant bailout for the beneficiary communities who have been unable to meet the stringent requirements of the electricity distribution company for connection services.

The Chairman’s intervention will provide much-needed relief to residents who have endured prolonged power challenges, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to enhancing living conditions through critical infrastructure provision.

Upon completion, the project will significantly improve power supply reliability, benefitting businesses, educational institutions, and households throughout the affected communities.
