A police inspector, Innocent Ishaku, and two accomplices have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing power cables in Makurdi’s Demekpe area.

Caught by vigilantes around 4 a.m. on June 10, Ishaku reportedly confessed to multiple thefts and was found with cables, connectors, and his police ID. The suspects are now in police custody.
