The maternal aunt of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has come forward with fresh shocking details surrounding the events that followed his untimely death.

Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, and ever since, activist VeryDarkMan has led a vocal online campaign calling for justice and transparency regarding the circumstances of his death.

During a recent emotional interview with VeryDarkMan, Mohbad’s aunt recounted the disturbing scene she encountered at his home shortly after his passing.

According to her, she discovered a blood-soaked singlet and a duvet heavily stained with blood.

“There was blood all over the singlet. I went to meet my sister, and she said she had just finished washing Mohbad’s duvet. She said the blood was too much,” she revealed, adding to the growing controversy surrounding the singer’s sudden demise.

She also alleged that on the day of Mohbad’s death, his wife, Wunmi, attempted to seize his phone, nearly sparking a physical altercation that was prevented by close associates.

“The first thing she was fighting for was Mohbad’s phone. I wanted to fight Wunmi that day,” she claimed.

Adding to her allegations, the aunt stated that the couple frequently fought, and accused one of Mohbad’s friends of preventing his mother from recording a disturbing video of her son after his death.

These explosive claims has fueled more calls from fans and activists for a full-scale investigation into the case, to bring closure to his loved ones.
