The State High Court sitting in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State has restrained the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from announcing, publishing and recognising the results of the Ward Congresses conducted on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

The court also restrained the Edo PDP from conducting the Local Government Congress slated for this Saturday, February 8, 2020.

The interim injunction restraining the party is sequel to an exparte motion filed by a former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Sylvanus Eruaga and two others following alleged manipulation of the Ward Congresses held in the 192 wards of Edo State.
