PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday ordered security agencies to crack down on the marauding bandits who killed 47 persons in Katsina State.
The state Police Command spokesman, SP Gambo Isah, said the bandits attacked in Dutsinma, Danmusa and Safana Local Government Areas on Saturday.
The President, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, sympathised with those who lost loved ones and valuables to the bandits.
“President Buhari said he will not tolerate this large scale killing of innocent people by the bandits, adding that in line with his commitment to the security of the people, these attacks will be met with decisive force.”
