Minister of Police Affairs Mohammed Dingyadi has said that bandits who attacked three local government areas in Katsina State last weekend will be tracked down and punished.
The attack claimed no fewer than 47 persons in Dutsinma, Danmusa and Safana local government areas on Saturday.
Dingyadi, in a statement yesterday by his Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Ehisienmen, expressed shock and sadness over the senseless attacks.
Dingyadi expressed his “deepest condolences to the government and people of Katsina State as well as the bereaved families”, the statement said.
He said the perpetrators of the crime will be fished out and dealt with accordingly.
