Following the reactions that trailed the announcement made earlier that Private Schools in the state will resume for academic activities tomorrow, Monday 26th October 2020, The Lagos state Commissioner of Information and Strategy Mr. Gbenga Omotoso has debunked the news.

On his verified Facebook Page, Omotoso wrote: “Public and Private Schools remain Shut till further Notice”.

Citizen NewsNG could recall that, the state Government had last week Tuesday announced the immediate closure of all Institutions of learning across the state as a result of the hijack of Protests against Police Brutality by hoodlums which resulted into Civil unrest and destruction of Public and Private Properties in the state.
