The world’s fastest animal has been murdered in Delta state after it flew in from Finland.
A photo of the Peregrine falcon was shared on Twitter after it was killed in in Ofagbe, Delta State.
The Peregrine falcon soars to a great height, then dives steeply at speeds of over 200 miles (320 km) per hour.
According to a social media user who shared the photos, a tag which was seen on the bird’s leg revealed it was from a Finland museum.
“This peregrine falcon was killed in a town called Ofagbe in Delta State. The bird flew all the way from Finland to Delta State as the tag on the bird read ” Museum 200L Helsinki Finland” he tweeted.
