As part of preventive measures put it place to halt the planned Protests by individuals in the state and check possible public unrest, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu  has embarked on  On-the-Spot assessment of the Lekki-Epe Expressway and its environment.

Citizen Magazine/Citizen NewsNG gathered that Odumosu and a team of Security operatives arrived at the Lekki Tollgate about 12 noon.

It could be recalled that the Lagos State Police Command deployed some battle- ready Officers to the Lekki tollgate last night to forestall breakdown of law and order.

When asked by Citizen Magazine/Citizen Magazine on the security  Suituation report around the Lekki-Epe Expressway particularly the Lekki tollgate,  Odumosu promised to address the Press and residents after the Tour of the Affected Areas.
