A controversial politician and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has again met with Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
Mr Buni, who is also the Chairman, APC Caretaker Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, hosted Mr Fani-Kayode on Wednesday in Abuja alongside Kwara State governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The meeting, which is the second one since February, is believed to be in furtherance of his consultations towards joining the APC.
Recall that on February 10, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State had announced that the former aviation minister had joined the ruling party, after meeting with Governor Buni.
But Mr Fani-Kayode, in his reaction, had denied joining the party, admitting, however, that he had held talks with the officials of the APC in that respect.
According to him, political consultations were still ongoing.
Writing on his verified Twitter handle, Mr Fani-Kayode had said: “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation, I have not left the PDP.”
