A man identified as Raphael Abraham escaped death by whiskers on Friday, March 5, after a tipper rammed into him and a Mercedes Benz and pushed him into the gutter at Eliozu Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The tipper driver reportedly lost control when a traffic warden, controlling traffic, stopped the lane abruptly forcing him to ram into the car, damaging the bumper beyond repair.

Occupants of the vehicle sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

The truck hit Abraham, who was standing at the scene of the accident and pushed him into a gutter but he miraculously survived with minor head injuries and bruises.

Meanwhile, the driver of the tipper has been moved to the Eliozu police station for investigations
