Aaron Ikuru, monarch of Ikuru town, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, has regained freedom from his abductors.

He was abducted from his palace five weeks ago, February 21, 2021, by some gunmen.

Maurice Ikuru, the monarch’s spokesman, said the monarch was released on Saturday night.

Nnamdi Omoni, spokesman of the State Police Command, also confirmed the release
