The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, FCIA, PCS+ has again recorded success in the fight against organised and domestic crimes in the state. In the last few days, major arrests have been made. Fire Arms and other exhibits were recovered from suspected criminals across the state.
Acting on the instruction of the Inspector general of Police IGP Mohammed Adamu NPM, mni, CP Ali has not relented on his effort to ensure a safe and Secured Delta for Residents and Visitors to the state. He also ordered the Divisional Police Officer of Ozoro, CSP Ogedengbe Areguamen to intensify his efforts to arrest the fleeing crime suspects.
It could be recalled that from the press statement made available to National Association of Online Security News Publishers [NAOSNP] by the State Police command on Thursdays, 1st April 2021, on a Kidnap case, the Divisional Police officer Ozoro, CSP Ogedengbe Areguamen, mobilized Police officers to the Aradhe Bush to rescue a kidnap victim. At the crime scene, the Operatives rescued one William Aduwoma Unhurt, after the kidnap suspects abandoned him and fled due to the galantrty disposition and superior gunfire exchange from the Police Team.
Following a comprehensive intelligence gathering, The Police Details arrested four[4] suspects in different Hideouts at Aradhe community and Iyeriri Quarters, Ozoro Town. The Suspects are Nwachukwu ‘m’ age 24yrs, Oletu Augustine ‘m’ age 35yrs, Obi Francis ‘m’ age 25yrs all of Aradhe Community and Udumubra Okema ‘m’ age 35yrs of Owhelogbo Road Ozoro. All the suspects have confessed to be members of the gang that kidnapped Mr. William Aduwoma who was earlier rescued by the Police.
Items recovered from the suspects include mobile Smart Phones, a Car key belonging to the Victim, Daggers and assorted Charms.

The Delta State Police Command has however deployed its Detectives to arrest the fleeing members of the Kidnap gang.
“In a short time, the other suspects will be arrested, investigated and charged to court”, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright said.
