Dorothy Yohana, one of the abducted students of the Greenfield University, Kaduna, killed by bandits, was buried on Wednesday.
Yohana was buried in Kaduna, the state capital, at a ceremony attended by friends, family members, and well-wishers.
Yohana was among the unspecified amount of students that were abducted by bandits from the private university located in Kasarami village, along the Kaduna-Abuja highway in Chikun Local Government Area of the state on 20 April.
The bandits made contact with the parents and demanded N800 million as ransom to release the students
The remains of Yohana alongside two fellow students – Sadiq Yusuf Sanga and Precious Nwakacha – were found at Kwanan Bature village, a location close to the university, last Friday.
After the funeral service held at the ECWA Goodnews Church, Narayi High Course, the remains of the slain Yohana was interred at the Barnawa GRA Cemetery about 2:30 pm.
