[ATCIS], Foremost No 1 Subscribers Advocacy body protecting Subscribers’ Right and Interests with membership of about 200 million Fixed and Mobile Telephone Subscribers members across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria has felicitate with our esteemed telecom subscribers especially the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s 2021 Eid El Fitr, which marks the completion of the Ramadan fasting under the leadership of Hon ‘Sina Jelili Bilesanmi aka OJUEKO as the National President of association.
Bilesanmi enjoin all believers who obeyed Allah’s commandment to fast in the Holy month of Ramadan not to relent in demonstrating Godly virtues and eschew vices they avoided during the fasting in obedience to divine command.
expressed gratitude for being alive to witness and celebrate yet another important act of Islamic religious worship which symbolizes faith, trust and obedience to Allah fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam.
It enjoined Muslim faithfuls to internalize and practice the innate and core lessons of the festival which essentially reinforces the spirit of sacrifice, tolerance, sympathy, empathy, devotion to duty, and the promotion of harmonious coexistence.
“We need to appreciate the fact that, faith in Allah, trust In Almighty and obedience to His commandments are the foundations of our relationship with Almighty Allah (SWT)”.
ATCIS also use the occasion to pray for our depart pillar member Subscriber Kunle Joseph Gbajobi who dead 10th May 2021 at 27 years old and with full support of member as active member to the struggle of Right & Interest of Subscribers to renew the foundation’s commitment to the pursuit of peace, unity, progress and the overall development of youths across the country.
While assuring that the foundation will continue to partner with relevant stakeholders in the country towards ensuring good standard of living for all particularly youths, he urged well-to-do in the country to help the poor to make the society a livable place for all.
The unprecedented challenges facing our dear nation demand bipartisan and patriotic efforts at rescuing the country from the cliff. This is the time to come together in unity to forge a national cohesion, tolerance and peace.
Like he said I referenced in my goodwill message at the commencement of the fasting that, ‘ Our challenges, though daunting but not insurmountable’ if we collectively renew our commitment to nation building.
We therefore implore Subscribers not to stop seeking God’s favour and guidance over the disturbing happenings in the country.
Bilesanmi said in its sustained effort in protecting the interest and right of telecoms subscribers in Nigeria, ATCIS has spent about N372 million since 2014 till date, which has basically been on self-sponsored by members without government agency like NCC, NBC, FCCPC and NIMC input. “The association has made over 702 newspaper publications, both local and international as well as online news publication, Radio and National Television Station Interviews with about 130 Success landmark achievements so far,” he said.
