The Lagos State Police Command has released the identity of the officer who shot a Lagos-based Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, Citizen NewsNG reports.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin gave the name of the killer Cop as Drambi Vandi.

Citizen NewsNG had reported earlier that Vandi has been detained by the command.

We also gathered that Vandi is an Assistant Superintendent of Police.

Citizen NewsNG recall that Mrs Raheem, a  pregnant woman, was shot at a close range on Christmas day by a Police officer attached to Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah, Lagos.

In a Twitter Post,  Hundeyin said the errant officer has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The Lagos Police Spokesperson vowed that the Command would ensure a speedy investigation of the death of the Real Estate Lawyer.
