Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru was born in 1950s.

Dr. Badru bagged a Higher National Diploma in Education in 1986.

Hel obtained his Master of Business Administration in 1991.

He proceeded to pursue his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Business Administration in 1997.

He is a Nigerian Academic, Successful Businessman, Technocrat and Astute Politician.

Dr. Badru is a Honourable member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives representing Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1.

He emerged as the Winner at the 2015 Nigerian general elections under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Following his Distinctive representation and popularity among his Constituents, Dr. Badru was reelected in 2019.

The Federal Lawmaker is seeking re-election in the 2023 general elections to further consolidate his achievements.

In 2003, He was appointed as the Special Adviser to former Governor Bola Tinubu of Lagos State and served until 2007.

Dr. Badru was appointed as the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development by former Governor Babatunde Fashola and served for eight years.

DOLBAD as he is fondly called has lifted and rekindled hope of the Downtrodden in his Constituency and beyond through continous Humanity Capital Development, Community Development Projects and Social Intervention Initiative.

He is an Advocate of Good Governance; A Partner towards Greater Lagos Initiative, Philanthropist and Development Enthusiast.

He is the Chairman, House Committee on Industry at the 9th National Assembly until May 2023.
