The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, at the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi during a phone conversation begged Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel to help reach out to Christians, particularly in the northern part of the country to vote for him (Obi), Citizen NewsNG reports.
Obi said, “Daddy, I need you to speak to your people in the South-West and Kwara, the Christians in the South-West and Kwara.
Continuing, Obi said that the Presidential Election is A Religious War.
“I believe that, I believe that, I believe that,” Oyedepo said in response,
“Like I keep saying: if this works, you people will never regret the support,” Mr Obi said with candour, adding that Christians in places like Kogi, Kwara and Niger have been difficult to penetrate., obi continued.
“We look forward to God’s intervention,” Oyedepo said, promising to circulate more messages to Christians on Mr Obi’s behalf.
