Popular Yoruba actor and director, Murphy Afolabi is dead.

In a post by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf, the Osogbo born actor died in the early hours of today.

Murphy Afolabi is said to have fallen down in the bathroom at his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Sunday morning, May 14, 2023.

Some of his colleagues have taken to their social media handles to mourn the loss of the talented thespian.

He was 49.
