The initiative by the first lady, Remi Tinubu, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), has given out scholarship grants to the last batch of four students who were not able to make the grand presentation to recipients from the 36 states of the federation and other organisations about a week ago.

Represented by the wife of the APC national chairman and director of Education, RHI, Prof Hafsat Ganduje, at the presentation held at the Office of the First Lady, State House, Abuja, Mrs Tinubu told the beneficiaries to ensure that they keep their GPA very high as this would put them in a very good stead academically.
“We know that education is key. Without education, there cannot be development and growth anywhere. Also look inwards to see how you can be of help to your family and friends.
“Be more enterprising and look beyond just academics so that you do not have to wait for white collar jobs when you graduate,” she said.
Responding on behalf of the scholarship recipients, Stella Orji, a Mass Communication student of Imo State University promised that they would not only make their parents proud but Nigeria as well.
She expressed their gratitude to the first lady for the initiative which they said is indeed a huge blessing for them and their families.
