Renowned rapper Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry have been granted bail following their prolonged detention in connection with the tragic death of Mohbad.
According to reports circulating online, both individuals are required to present three sureties and a total of 20 million naira as part of their bail conditions.
The court has also directed them to surrender their foreign passports and mandated them to appear weekly at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as an additional condition for their release.
In addition to these conditions, the magistrate overseeing the case issued a stern warning, making it clear that any attempts to contact her would be documented and potentially disclosed during public court proceedings.
Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested upon their return to the country, as they were linked to the unfortunate demise of the late singer, Mohbad. Speculation surrounding their alleged involvement in Mohbad’s death intensified after a video surfaced showing Sam Larry attempting to assault Mohbad while he was on set.
